Join us for Writers' Connect: StoryGarden Edition, a dynamic day of author networking, creative inspiration, and expert insights in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. This event is designed to bring together authors, editors, illustrators, screenwriters, literary agents, bookstagrammers, book Reviewers, and book lovers for a unique, enriching experience.

Whether you're an established author or a budding writer, there’s something for everyone. Here's what you can look forward to:

Event Highlights:

  • StoryGarden: Showcasing Books by Diverse Authors
    Discover and explore an eclectic collection of works by diverse authors, celebrating unique voices and stories from various genres.

  • Review your submissions with Literary Agent from The Good Literary Agency
    Receive valuable feedback on first page of your manuscript from literary agent Arden Jones from The Good Literary Agency helping you refine and polish your manuscripts for your submissions. You can submit your work beforehand and book a 15 minutes 1-2-1 consultation to gain expert feedback. There are only 10 slots available.Here’s what you need to submit :

1️⃣ A one-page cover letter

2️⃣ A one-page synopsis

3️⃣ The first 5000 words of your completed or work-in-progress draft

4️⃣ Make sure your whole submission is in one Word doc! It can be fiction, non-fiction, adult, or children’s story – but no poetry or scripts, please.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 8th October, 2024

  • StoryGarden Book Showcase
    Showcase your book with fellow book lovers, influencers and reviewers who help promote authors and their works across social media platforms. Build meaningful connections that can support your book marketing efforts.

  • Happy Tree Book Club- Book Exchange
    Bring a book, take a book! Exchange reads with fellow attendees and leave with something new for your bookshelf.
