What is the Parent Wound?
The "parent wound" is the emotional pain that can form in the relationship between a parent and child. It doesn’t mean parents are bad people; it often comes from the fact that parents bring their own life experiences and unprocessed traumas into parenting. This can make it hard for them to fully support their child emotionally, even if they love them deeply. As a result, children may grow up feeling like they’re not good enough or that they need to please others to feel loved.
Michele Paradise is a trauma and relationship expert renowned for her compassionate, insightful approach to healing deep-rooted wounds. With certifications in hypnotherapy, NLP, and trauma-informed practices, Michele has over two decades of experience guiding women toward inner resilience and self-empowerment. Her work combines science with soulful healing, drawing from the work of pioneers like Dr. Gabor Maté to help clients uncover and transform their core beliefs and emotional patterns. Michele’s workshops are known for being both deeply supportive and practical, equipping participants with tools for meaningful change that go beyond the surface.
