Join us for an evening talk about sustainability with business leaders. Learn why sustainability is important, what challenges businesses face, and what difference each of us can make.

We have invited business owners and experts to talk about sustainability, its importance, and how we can contribute to positive change. The panel discussion will aim to shed light on the experiences of women in business, with panelists delving into their personal stories, exploring challenges that they encounter, as well as tips on how each of us can contribute to a more sustainable world.

Rachel Situmorang

 

Member of the Hearth, who has over a decade of extensive experience as an energy and natural resources lawyer, with a career that has spanned continents from Indonesia to the UK. Her unwavering commitment to ethical and responsible resource development has been a driving force throughout her professional journey. She has a deep-rooted dedication to environmental sustainability and social justice. Recently she transitioned into a sustainability professional, dedicating herself to advancing sustainability practices and principles.

 

Jennifer Georgeson

 

Jennifer has an MSc and PhD, over 20 years experience working in international development & start up tech with a track record of leadership, strong knowledge of sustainable and ethical fashion, e-commerce, product development, managing complex data sets and supply chains. Founder of SO JUST SHOP, a sustainable gifting platform and JUSTIFY, a SAAS sustainability measuring and solution modelling tool.

 

Ayesha Mustafa

 

Ayesha has worked in sustainable fashion for over 12 years. Prior to launching Everyday Phenomenal, Ayesha launched and grew Fashion ComPassion a socially responsible fashion company. Fashion and Social Development have always been her biggest passions. Besides her professional career, Ayesha has worked with various NGOS and social development organisations such as Grameen Bank, that work towards literacy, women empowerment and community development. Ayesha is among BBC's #100Women for 2014. She also works as a consultant to ethical brands, and speaks at various organisations and forums on ethical and sustainable fashion.
