About This Event

The panel discussion will aim to shed light on the experiences of women in business, with the panelists delving into their personal stories, exploring the challenges that they have encountered, as well as the achievements they’ve celebrated. Not only will these women focus on their own journeys, but will also help provide insights and advice for other women aspiring to carve out their own paths in the business sector.

Georgina Wilson

Founder, BUD

 

Georgina is devoted to facilitating real change and uses innovative, outside the box approaches in her programmes, ensuring that they are accessible for all.

Georgina has worked with 1000’s of Women to Empower them in leadership and change. Coined the ‘£50 million woman’ by Pitch Black Magazine for her new ChallengeX2 campaign and mission to help bring £50 million into Black and Global Majority led businesses, Georgina pledges to double the revenue of 2030 Global Majority Women by 2030.

She has years of experience as a Public Speaker, Systems thinker, Programme Designer & Project Manager, Facilitator and Leadership Coach. She founded BUD in 2014 because she wanted to see people who looked like her in positions of leadership. Knowing statistically that global majority women have the talent, but lack the networks, tools and resources to progress, she wanted to do something about it.

 

Helen Grimshaw

COO and Co-Founder, Peli Health

 

With over 25 years of expertise in digital advertising, web scale search/AI software sales and marketing, serves as the COO and Co-Founder of Peli Health, a Femtech digital health platform focusing on women's pelvic health. Her diverse career spans tech sectors like healthtech, adtech, and legaltech, where she has successfully launched digital products globally, overseeing intricate tech project deliveries. With a strong foundation in commercial operations, and program management, Helen brings valuable experience in driving the successful launch of digital products in global markets.

 

Natalia Nicholson

Founder, Women in Digital Business

 

Natalia Nicholson, the heart and brain behind Women in Digital Business, is more than just a digital marketing guru. She's a trailblazer who's passionately paving the way for black female professionals in the digital space. Her platform isn't just about strategies and numbers; it's a community where encouragement and empowerment take center stage.

With a knack for making complex concepts accessible and a genuine desire to see others succeed, Natalia has become a go-to mentor for online tutors, course creators, and membership site owners. Her workshops and coaching sessions are filled with insights, warmth, and a bit of laughter, making the journey towards digital success as enjoyable as it is fruitful.

Natalia's work transcends the typical business coaching; she's creating a movement where black female entrepreneurs are recognized, celebrated, and uplifted. Her dedication to building a supportive and innovative community is what makes her stand out—not just as a coach, but as a leader and friend in the digital business world.

 

Oi Leng Lui

Co-Founder, The Hearth

 

Oi Leng Lui, originally from Singapore having studied Anthropology at Princeton University she had stints working at McKinsey and left a career in the film industry to become a reluctant entrepreneur.

Co-founder of The Hearth, a women’s space in Queen’s Park London which believes in supporting women on their personal journeys; nurturing women so they can live, work and feel better. Affirming that when women are restored to their power, they go on to give back in their chosen communities.
