About The Event

As we enter the new year, the weight of grief can feel heavier than ever amidst the hopes and expectations of a fresh start. For many of us, this time is not just about resolutions and beginnings but also about navigating loss, honouring our grief, memories, loved ones and finding a way forward.

Join us at The Hearth for an in-person gathering hosted by Amber Jeffrey, Founder of The Grief Gang. This event is a safe, welcoming space for anyone grieving to come together, share their experiences, and explore ways to approach the new year with intention, support and community.

Whether you’ve been on this path for years or are facing fresh loss, this gathering is here to remind you that you are not alone. Together, we’ll create a supportive environment to reflect, connect and step into the new year with compassion for ourselves and others.

Agenda:

  • Doors open 6:30pm with event starting promptly at 7pm.

  • Short breath-work, introduction and opening from Amber.

  • Splitting of the room into smaller groups to begin discussions, you will have gentle prompt cards amongst your circle to aid conversation.

  • Returning back to our larger circle to share what we may have discussed and connected on in our break away circles.

  • Close with breath-work

  • We will spend the rest of the evening chatting, connecting, listening to music and enjoying some drinks and nibbles! (Pizza on me!)
