With colourful characters, comedy songs and one woman’s search for chutzpah, this classic fish-out-of-water tale blends bighearted comedy, electrifying ukulele riffs and fearless physicality.

A fast-paced solo show, exploring female empowerment, written and performed by Erin Hunter, one-half of the award-winning comedy duo, Hunt the Vigan.

ABOUT ERIN HUNTER

Actor-writer Erin Hunter trained at LAMDA and UCLA and is one-half of the award-winning comedy duo Hunt the Vigan. She's performed in 2 runs of acclaimed sketch comedy show, Newsrevue and was nominated for a Best Actress award at the Bilbao Festival for web series A Quick Fortune. In London, Erin's performed at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Soho Theatre, Bush Theatre, Southwark Playhouse and Arcola among others.

The show is produced by Kristin Duffy of Slackline Productions, which works with female writers to offer new writing plays with female characters at their heart, focusing most specifically on stories of women aged 35+.

The show is directed by Adam Lenson (credits from The Old Vic, Public Theater, New York, Duke of York's and St James Theatre), and dramaturgy is by Sarah Sigal (PhD, Theatre and Performance, Goldsmiths).
