About Blossom
My name is Blossom Heath-Lambert, and I graduated from the College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy, formally the BCNO (now known as the British College of Osteopathic Medicine).
I graduated with a degree in Osteopathic Medicine, and a diploma in Naturopathy in 2001. I am fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council, and I am fully insured.
I have a background in Pharmacy, working at St Georges, and Guys hospital for over 10 years.
Since qualifying as an osteopath, I spent several years providing osteopathic services for Reuters the news agency, as well as working in several private practices. This helped me, to develop a great deal of experience, working with patients who suffer from a range of ailments, including issues due to desk and office working, in particular issues surrounding ergonomics.
As a result, I believe in taking a holistic approach to treatment. My approach to treatment includes naturopathic modalities, diet, hydrotherapy, soft tissue massage, joint mobilisation, manipulation, stretches and exercises.
An important aspect to my treatment is to remind the body that it can utilise its own innate potential for healing, giving the patient the confidence to look forward to better health and increased knowledge regarding the mind and body.
Osteopathic treatment aims to help restore normal function, and stabilise joints, by increasing the health of the tissues surrounding the joints, spine, nervous system, circulatory and lymphatic systems, by using a mixture of techniques, all hands on manual therapy. All treatment protocols are based on the individual patient, to provide a holistic and patient centred treatment protocol, geared towards the presenting symptoms.
