About This Event

What is your relationship with ageing? How do you define it? Did you know that your body could either be the same age as you are in years, or much older or younger? Wouldn’t it be powerful to know how you can influence this? In this introduction to the series, we will lay the foundation by defining ageing and longevity and discuss the factors that contribute to the ageing process. Moving from head knowledge into embodied action, you will receive practical takeaways to incorporate into your life, right now.

About The Series

Overarching theme trends in Western society suggest that despite having a longer lifespan (80+ yrs) health span is generally half of that, with issues starting to arise as the reproductive years draw to a close in the 40s. Considering the rhythms, cycles and stages of life can be a powerful tool in promoting optimal health and well-being. This series of talks integrates the principles of personalized nutrition & lifestyle medicine with the science of chronobiology for promoting healthy ageing and longevity.

Throughout the sessions, emphasis will be on the importance of taking a personalized, holistic approach to ageing and longevity. Practical tips and strategies will be given for incorporating the principles of personalized nutrition and lifestyle medicine into daily life, with a focus on encouraging guests to make small, sustainable changes to their nutrition and lifestyle habits. Guests will be encouraged to ask questions and share their experiences.
