About This Event

Science has begun to unveil new evidence to suggest that we inherit not only physical traits and biological characteristics but also the memories of our grandparents and great-grandparents. So, while disease and addiction are known to pass on in our genes, so too are the traumas and heartbreak of the distant past. It is through our body that we remember our Ancestors. Ancestral memory is locked in our cells. We may never have known them but their story echoes through us long after they have gone. Healing our ancestry is not just about healing what is negative but also being inspired by our ancestry. By finding those in our family tree that support us and our children with the light of their wisdom and their pioneering and courageous lives. By discovering our ancestors and how we can heal the negative and embrace what is positive within our family tree.

About The Series

This is a journey into the future as well as the distant past, for as you explore your family tree, you begin to see yourself as just one strand in a never-ending tapestry of history and emotion, personality and achievement, tragedy, and death, that will continue through your family into infinity. The whole point to ancestral healing is to understand that we are the carriers of old stories in new bodies, using contemporary ideas to deal with it all. The ancestors’ intentions were not always to leave the kind of legacies that they did, sometimes it was unavoidable circumstances, or a series of poor decisions. There are practices, rituals, exercises, and meditations which can be applied to work with inheritance, to embrace what is positive and heal what is negative. The shadows of the powerful relationship we share with our ancestors can create subtle impacts on our psychological and emotional behaviours.

A story will begin to emerge as you unravel your own characteristics and ancestral conditions, therefore, seemingly irrational fears, psychological, emotional, and physical difficulties have their roots in our family heritage. In turn you will recognise a pattern emerging, leading you to understand how much of your life story has been influenced by family history.
