About This Event

Restoring your metabolism involves taking a comprehensive look at various aspects of your lifestyle, as well as understanding how your body's physiology, particularly the thyroid and adrenal glands, affect your metabolic function. Three key areas to consider are your lifestyle choices, body temperature, and pulse rate.

Lifestyle plays a significant role in metabolic health. Maintaining a balanced diet that provides adequate nutrients, managing stress levels, getting regular exercise, and prioritizing quality sleep are all essential components. By adopting a healthy lifestyle, you can support optimal thyroid and adrenal gland function, which are crucial for a well-functioning metabolism.

Body temperature is another important factor to assess. Low body temperature may indicate an underactive thyroid, also known as hypothyroidism, which can slow down your metabolism. Monitoring your body temperature over time can help identify potential thyroid issues and guide treatment strategies.

Pulse rate, or heart rate, can also provide insights into your metabolic health. An excessively high or low resting heart rate may indicate imbalances in thyroid or adrenal function.
