Healing from Codependency: Learning how to really trust yourself (so that you can trust others too)

Are you Codependent and looking to heal?

Have you feeling the challenging effects of being involved with a Narcissist or controlling person?

This series of workshops run by Codependency Recovery Coach Anna Shapira – is designed to help you rediscover and care for yourself through learning some of the core impacts of your experience.

So far we’ve looked at key topics like Healthy boundaries, Healing Guilt and Shame and radical Self-Care.

Coming up: ‘Coping with being triggered’, ‘How to access and release trauma from the body’ and ‘How to develop trust in yourself and others’.

Each workshop is effective on it’s own, but we recommend the whole series to give you a full grounding in recovery.

About This Session

This event is all about helping you learn how to really trust yourself. When we can really trust ourself, everything changes! It becomes easier to make decisions, easier to take risks and basically easier to live the life we are here to live.

And, with Valentine’s day coming up - definitely easier to enter new relationships romantic or platonic.

When you enter new relationships you might be asking ‘Can I trust this person?’ and attempt to figure out the answer to that impossible question! This workshop will show you why the most important person you need to be able to trust is you.

Codependency – being all about focus on others and their needs and wishes, tends to strongly diminish your own capacity to understand and trust yourself. It’s very common for codependent people to have trust issues as a result. Either ‘over-trusting’ in a naïve way, that often leads to the person being manipulated or used. Or under trusting, often leading to isolation and exhaustion.

The key therefore is learning how to trust just the right amount – something we’ll be exploring in the workshop.

This workshop is for you if:

  • You sometimes struggle to know what you really want or how to make decisions.

  • You feel scared or anxious going into new relationships, because you’re worried you will be hurt or betrayed.

  • You want to learn how to so deeply trust yourself, that you will no longer doubt yourself or your choices.

  • You want to feel the relief and freedom of fully knowing that you have your own back.

  • You want to have deeper more meaningful connections with others, but haven’t known how to get there.

  • You’re ready to expand and evolve the way you live, so that you can be more aligned to your authentic self.

We’ll be exploring what it really means to trust the self and the intuition, why this has possibly been so difficult or impossible for you up til now, and how to start developing genuine and liberating trust in yourself.
