About This Event

This workshop is designed for parents/caregivers present and future who have thought about how they interact with their children and what things they can do to improve their relationship with their children and themselves. It’s a non-diagnostic course designed to teach the psycho-educational coping skills that help manage the turbulent nature of life and sometimes, parenting. From wanting to be a better parent, friend and partner to wanting to make self-care a priority, this course will better your mental health and ability to live the life you want to live.


Dorcas Onabanjo

Psychologist

Dorcas is a psychologist with over 10 years of professional, academic and personal experience within the mental and global public health sector. She is passionate about safeguarding the mental health and well-being of marginalised communities, children and young people.as she believes it is a global public health issue.

With an undergraduate degree in Neuroscience, a PGDip in Global Public Health and Policy and an MSc in Psychology, Dorcas has an academically sound understanding of human behaviour. As a mental health professional and a global health advocate, she is passionate about empowering parents and caregivers in raising more compassionate communities through grassroots efforts.
